About Cumbia Klub
Cumbia is also a way of carrying our homeland with us.
Cumbia Klub was born from a simple idea: cumbia is much more than a musical genre. It is a party, it is memory, it is the voice of our parents singing in the kitchen while they prepared something to eat, it is the band that played at every family gathering. For those of us who live far from home, it is also the quickest way to return, even if only for three and a half minutes.
Cumbia is a movement, not just a sound
We believe that cumbia goes much further than music: it is identity, community, and a way of being in the world. That is why we explore a different way of participating in that movement through fashion, understanding that you don't need to play an instrument or know how to dance to be part of this culture — it's enough to feel it and find the style that represents you.
Why we exist
Music transforms, but access to learning it—an instrument, a class, a space to create—does not reach all communities equally. That is why a portion of the proceeds from selected products is donated to the Corporación Tagua, an organization that works for the social and cultural transformation of communities through art, education, and participation, strengthening human development, identity, and a sense of belonging. Every garment you buy helps more people have access to art and music as tools for change.
We don't sell clothes, we sell a sense of belonging
Every Cumbia Klub garment has a reason for being, whether it's a song, an artist, a memory, or a cumbia scene. Colombian, Peruvian, Mexican, or Argentine, cumbia has no borders — and if you feel it, it is yours, and you are part of the cumbia universe.
